Final Fantasy 7:Advents Children

Most people won't know much about this movie. Only those who have played it's game will know about it.

Set two years after the events of Final Fantasy VII, Cloud now leads a solitary life traveling the Planet as a transporter. The office of Strife Delivery Service is located in 7th Heaven, which also functions as an orphanage for children stricken with Geostigma.

Three new enemies make an appearance in Advent Children. Kadaj, their leader, is in his teens, while Yazoo and Loz are known to be in their twenties. In them, Cloud sees shadows of FFVII’s fallen hero, Sephiroth. The three are after “Mother” and refer to Cloud as their “Brother”. Having obtained Jenova’s head, their purpose appears to be to start another Reunion. Vincent suspects that with Jenova’s cells, they may even be able to create another Sephiroth.

A non-contagious disease known as Geostigma is spreading across the Planet, with Kadaj claiming that it is due to Jenova’s cells working hard in the Lifestream. Children tend to show signs of Geostigma first, though adults are susceptible to the disease as well. Symptoms of Geostigma include mental weakness, pain and even death. Cloud is known to suffer from this disease though he hides his affected arm beneath his sleeve. He is heard coughing and clutching his arm in some parts of the trailers. Victims bandage affected regions and it was Cloud’s used bandage, which Marlene found in the Church, that gave away his condition.

Weighed down by memories of loved ones he has lost and his physical condition, he now comes across as devoid of hope. It takes much persuasion from Tifa after the children are captured, for Cloud to decide to go after them. Perhaps it is only during his dream-like encounter with Aerith on the way to the City of the Ancients that he finally makes some progress.

In a battle against Kadaj, Yazoo and Loz, Bahamut sin was summoned to battle cloud. Cloud practicaly flies towards the monster, and literally destroys it.

From out of the debris, sword drawn, a familiar face is seen.

Sephiroth has returned.

Hey~ I'm here to tell you about some experiences about my past holiday trips...

During the March holidays, my parents brought me and my sister to Port Dickson by bus. We went there to see the beautiful scenery of Port Dickson. As there weren't much reasons to continue staying there, we continued our trip to Ipoh. I can still remember a historic place called the Kellie's Castle. Kellie was a businessman who did business in Malaysia's rubber plantation, while his family was in England. Hence, the construction of the castle. However, his family did not want to go to Malaysia and he left his business and went back to England. The castle was then left there and now it is an tourist attraction.

During the trip, there were also many great food. We were brought to many restaurants and we even tried the famous Ipoh Hor Fun(a type of noodle in sauce). It tasted heavenly and I definitely enjoyed my journey.

The Pacifier:

Well, this movie came out last year. I find this movie is worth recommending so here it goes. Well this movie is about a military commando was ordered to protect a professor’s family who was killed by some villain who are after a software called the “the Ghost”. This family consist of a baby, a boy toddler , a pre school girl, a teenage boy and the eldest in the family a high school girl. Their mom had to to leave home to get some confidential work done. So the house was left with the commando, the nanny and the kids. They were immediately under strict orders of the commando who focuses a lot on discipline. The children did not like them and wanted him to go. On the second day of his duty, the nanny could not stand the kids any longer and ran away, leaving the poor commando to look after the family. After a few days his relationship with the children grew stronger. When the mom returns with a special key, the family was attacked by their Korean neighbors and an American general who betrayed his country. After a hard fight, the commando and the children managed to overcome the terrorists. Too bad the commando had to go after he had completed his job…but he and the children still came in touch…8/10!

I not stupid 2:

This is a local movie directed by Jack neo. This movie is about the typical problems we have here in Singapore like students who are very bad in Chinese, parents neglecting their children. This movie has a mix of comedy and sadness. Two 15 years old NT students, with different backgrounds but share the same problems. Both of their parents did not love them enough. causing them to go astray. One of them is from a rich family whose parents are both very busy with their work and did not spend enough time with their son. The other was from a poor home whose father was an ex-gangster who went in and out of prison many times and lost his mom. The movie showed how the boys went astray and struggled to get attention from their parents. After being banned from school, the boys’s parent regretted and wanted to spend more time with their child but they made the situation worse. After much struggle, the boys regretted the path they took and wanted to turn over a new leaf. In the end the boys pursuit their dreams and talents….i rate this movie 7.5/10

Television: Singapore Idol 2nd season recently made its debut on TV. With hilarious auditions and quirky singing, most of the participants were rejected and only a handful made it into the second round. (Some singers were REALLY bad)

For all anime fans out there, today is your lucky day. This post is dedicated only to anime fans, especially fans of NARUTO!!! I will briefly introduce you to Naruto.

UZUMAKI NARUTO
A child in the Hidden Ninja Village of Konoha(leaf). What happened to his parents is unknown, but it is a fact that he was alone since an infant. The Fourth Hokage(leader of th hidden leaf village) sealed the Kyuubi (nine-tails demon fox) inside the infant to protect Konoha from its wrath.
Naruto can call upon this creature’s chakra and use it for his own techniques. The people of Konoha regarded him as the Kyuubi itself for most of his life, confused about the seal placed on him. This faded as Naruto grew as a ninja and defended Konoha with his life. His dream is to one day receive the title of Hokage as the greatest ninja in Konoha. He is very clumsy and very noisy, but very good at surprising people, which is often his greatest weapon. Although lacking in some of the basics of being a ninja, his determination is unmatched and with the Kyuubi’s chakra and he produces results in the most hopeless situations. He lives his life according to his own way of the ninja. He is probably the most impulsive ninja, but these impulses serve him well often enough and are the very reason he and several other ninja have survived the missions they have been involved.

Hi people, I should be going off on holiday during the June holidays, one month to play should not be wasted on mudane things. I used to visit Australia one or two years back, so I‘ll be sharing with you people all that I know.

Down under is a place filled with many wonderful things, such as the beautiful scenery and the amazing air you can breathe in both in the countryside and in the city. There are many farms in the countryside, such as the highly popular wool farms which has live showcases of shaving the wool off a sheep. There are also many wine refineries and they each hold a very big space for their vineyards. They make both red and white wine which should be eaten with both red and white meat respectively. Australia also holds two of the wonders of the world: the great ocean road, and the twelve apostles.

The food there is also great, with plenty of variety. They have many different kinds of steaks which are mostly served in steakhouses and are always done on the spot. Or you can have steak buffets. You pay a sum of money and you can have all the food and wine you want. With the chef cutting and serving on the spot.

Movie Review: Poseidon

What’s new?

Hi there. I’m here to introduce a movie that I recently watched, Poseidon.
A cruise ship, which was named Poseidon (meaning The God of Sea), was hit by a tidal wave and capsized where many were killed and trapped. A small group of people ignored the Captain’s order and attempted to escape. Wary of alliances, the small band of survivors upward through the bowels of the ship. Those who choose to join them rather than wait below include a shy stowaway, a suicidal man who re-discovers his will to live and a young waiter with knowledge of the ship's layout. Determined to fight their way to the surface, they must forge a path together through layers of wreckage as the ship continues to sink. Bonds form quickly in this journey of vertical climbs, dead ends and sheer drops. And trust proves vital.

Opinion: I think that this movie was well done because the plot was interesting, especially the climax which made me really excited. However the cliché ending was not very good.

Rating: 8/10 (Worth Watching)

This movie came out not long ago; it is still showing in the cinemas now…this show is about a cruise ship on its way to its destination, during New Years Eve. While the passengers were counting down to the New Year, the ship officer felt that something was wrong. After that a humongously massive wave in another words a Tsunami hit the ship smacking it onto its sides. The passengers were all taken by surprise, some were injured and some died…the people were trapped in the ballroom underwater. Worried that the glass window would not last, the main actor wanted to find a way out of the ship. A few people joined him afterwards. This team of people consist of a child and his mom, a father, his daughter and his future son in law and other types of people of different background…this show shows how these people helped each other, sacrifice for each other and making life threatening decisions…this movie is not bad. I grade it 8/10!

Believe me, once you start playing MapleSEA, you will realize that many people in MapleSEA will try all sorts of methods to hack the system and scam other players. All kind of methods can be seen, from stupid ideas to ideas from geniuses. But I am not saying that only in MapleSEA there will be hackers and scammers. In other games there will also be such people. For example, DotA (Defense of the Ancients). There are people who uses map hacks which allows the user to see the whole map without exploring the map.

Holiday Reflections

Finally, the mid year holiday is coming. The one long break that almost all of the students have been waiting for…5 months? Holiday in the eyes of many students is just fun and more fun. But anyone really sits and thinks about the past? Everyone only wants to enjoy for the moment … and no one reflects on the past which in the end would benefit them the most. One simple example would be doing badly in the mid year exam and not think through about it, like: "Why did I did so badly in the exam?" Nowadays, students just do and forget about the past while not reflecting and when this happens, in the future, he/she may fall for the same thing again. So for me the most important is to reflect upon what he or she had done.

DOTA....what is DotA? Dota is the Defense of the Ancients. DotA is a game that has taken Singapore by storm, those who do not know what is dota *points to the window*. Many people has planned to spend the whole of the holiday mugging in front of the computer playing it. It contains a lot of fun and excitement which involves a lot of anger like smashing of the mouse, whacking of the computer saying words like ****** which are not advisable to post it here…You can turn a whole game round just by a pure streak of luck and sometimes illegal betting can take place. But the question is still there, why is DotA so addictive and alluring that many people has taken a liking to it? Dota tests our mind as we form out strategies and the hidden strategy to win is the element of surprise, when they are taken aback their mind won't be able to react. It also allows you to show how good you are in playing the computer as DotA is tests your skills of anticipation. Playing the game can take place for around 2 hours but no 1 complains. except for the parents. Well perhaps up to now you all might have the little bit of interest in it and want to start playing the game. Feel free to ask around and a lot of people would be interested in teaching you (as killing newbies would probably be their interest). Well, practice make perfect...

2x exp card, pet with mesos magnet and item pouch. What is the first thing that comes to your mind when someone tells you about this? It will be MapleSEA. If you do not play the game, you might not really know this game, but you should have at least heard of it because as it is very popular among teenagers. This game requires patience as training the character takes up quite an amount of time, unless you are willing to spent real cash on items which can help you boost up your experience to train faster.

Many soccer fans look forward to it as it they would want to see the biggest stars in the world displaying their skills either against or along side with each other on the pitch. The world cup help discover hidden talents and give chances for them to perform and prove themselves worthy of being in the best cup. It also helps unite the world together as everyone in the world speaks 1 common language and that's none other then soccer.
